Little Aadit (my cousin's son) has been quite a revelation in the age of Computer-feeding, pseudo-sense speaking and Synthetic junk eating youngsters.
I haven't written about anyone person(s) in this blog particularly in a long time cos I never really felt the need to do so nor has anybody evinced my interest to be written about heartily.. however this post is dedicated to the little human who in our 15 mins conversation gave me a lot to think and smile about.
Right from our first acknowledgments, we got along like a house on fire. Considering I am his uncle whom he has never met in his entire life, we didn't waste time to catch up on the lost time of his eventful 8 years on this planet.
The kidult (Kid+adult) had the innocence, enthusiasm, exuberance and warmth of a child; wit of a seasoned comedian; intelligence of well-read learned person; charm of a well-practiced smooth talker; imagination of an artist; emotional and intellectual depth; and wisdom far beyond his age.. something most of my generation and even generations earlier could only wish for..
Not that he cared too much of my observations of him, he just welcomed me into his stories, adventures, jokes; basically life as he knew it.. adding new dimensions, colors and sound perceptions to make sure that each word was loaded and well weighed..
Kiddo, you are like a breath of fresh air... Wish more kids and adults were like you..
