"You ...!!" she stared at him with disbelief..
On an unfinished road they yet met again..
Yet another bout of conflicting thoughts!!
Their eyes met and repelled..
Fondness grew and melted in a moment..
He thought that this was for the best..
Sunlight filtered through the foliage..
A sullen moment of silent conversation
He remembered saying "Baby; We'll always be together"
She still hurted for him;
They had moved on and yet not!!
And they walked...
The stream, it used to sing for them..
While the birds were joyous again..
Stars came out to see them..
They couldn't believe that a lifetime had passed since they last met
Yet it all seemed the same.. Nothing changed in the time
Walking into the sunset.. the final autumn had set..

This has been inspired from the book "A HUNDRED YEARS OF SOLITUDE" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez that I had read a few years back..
I thought it was a very interesting read.. Well written literature about Love that was lost and found after a span of a 100 years... Very ambitious topic but managed to hold the reader in capacity!! Nice
